Nishit Shah (b.1964, Nairobi Kenya) is an artist living and working in Hertfordshire England..
Self-taught from an early age, he has always been an emotional and highly sensitive individual. Nish found peace and comfort when creating art. He created art in school through to higher college. He had a break of about 30 years and re found his love and passion for art age 55 in April 2020 during the pandemic lockdown.
Nish never went to art school, never trained, just a natural born artist who loves working with graphite and colour pencils in the contemporary art world, specialising in creating surrealistic and realistic pencil drawings. His use of pencils in graphite and colour is exceptional creating life-like portraits, of people, animals and his love for wildlife, particularly elephants have been the main highlight of his outstanding creativity with people admiring his work worldwide.
